In June, the HRA Council released its 2023 data report on the state of Health Reimbursement Arrangements, including Qualified Small Employer HRAs (QSEHRAs) and Individual Coverage HRAs (ICHRAs). The report shows that between 2022 and 2023, the number of American workers offered insurance through an ICHRA tripled; QSEHRA offerings, only available to small employers with less than 50 employees, doubled. The data comes from administrators and enrollment platforms that are members of the HRA Council: Alegeus, Flyte HCM, HealthSherpa, HRASimple, nexben, OneBridge Benefits, PeopleKeep, Remodel Health, Stride Health, Take Command, and zizzl health. Why HRA Council Membership? You understand how the new Individual Coverage HRAs (ICHRAs) substantially expand employers’ ability to offer health coverage to their workers, increase workers’ choice of coverage, and reduce the number of people without health insurance. You care about covering Americans and you know that small businesses, entrepreneurs, part-timers, “gig economy” workers, and other non-traditional employees have often been left out and priced out of health insurance. You know being on the ground level for ICHRAs provides unique insights to fulfill our initial goal of creating an improved way for hundreds of thousands of employers and millions of workers to get health insurance coverage. You want to win and end the coverage struggle, and HRA Council Membership gives you the success edge.
